Bio

Julie Elliot's research uses geodetic data, including high-precision GPS and satellite imagery, to examine how the Earth’s surface changes shape due to geologic processes such as plate tectonics, volcanic activity and glacier change. The results of this work can be used to evaluate earthquake and volcano hazards as well as to help estimate sea-level rise and its potential impacts on coastal regions.
