##Research Interests
Phytochemistry, drug discovery, natural products and metabolomics.

##Quick Profile
**What got you interested in plants and plant science?**
I have always been fascinated by medicinal plants, but my love for plant science took off after a summer REU at the Boyce Thompson Institute.

**What is your research about?**
In my current rotation, I am investigating protein-dipeptide interactions for a particular protein from Arabidopsis. My next rotation focuses more on the natural product/drug discovery side of my interests.

**What is the potential societal impact of your research?**
If I choose to stay on the drug discovery side, my research would help with advancements against the antimicrobial resistance crisis.

**Where do you see yourself in 10 years?**
In ten years, I hope to be teaching/mentoring undergraduates at a small university or college.

**On a Saturday afternoon, you'll likely find me:**
On a walk at my local park or in a coffee shop! :)
