I completed my History BA at the University of Iowa, my History MA at Rutgers-Newark University, and my History PhD at Michigan State University. I started as a Academic Specialist - Advisor at MSU in 2023 in the Political Science Department. As an advisor, I help students explore and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. In particular, I advocate for academic success skills and enjoy working with students under academic probation. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, cooking & baking, running, and reading comic books.
