##Research interest

My research interest resides at the cross-section of scientific research and undergraduate biology education. Specifically, my scientific research focuses on plant lipid metabolism and lipid-derived signaling, aiming to increase oil content in photosynthetic organisms and develop stress-resilient crops. Employing a pedagogical approach, namely Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE), which involves undergraduate students in scientific research within the classroom, I aim to explore the impacts of curricula and learning climate on student learning. In addition, I am actively engaged in community outreach events.
