**What got you interested in plants and plant science?**
I was really fascinated by photosynthesis when it was taught in some of my earliest science classes, which is something that just stuck with me. I always enjoyed the sections of my biology classes on plants and was excited to dig a little deeper once I got to college. Classes like plant physiology and dendrology and my undergraduate research really solidified my interest in plants and ultimately led me to MSU!

**On a Saturday afternoon, you'll likely find me:**
Reading, going to see a movie, playing board games or spending time outside!
