Bio
###Research Interests Neuroanalytical Chemistry - Carbon microelectrodes, chemical and biochemical sensors, and electrochemical methods are being used, along with pharmacological and molecular biology tools, to study excitatory (serotonin) and inhibitory (ATP and nitric oxide) neuromuscular signaling in vitro in the gastrointestinal tract of test animals for the purpose of learning about the mechanisms behind disruption of these signaling pathways in disease states.
