Bio

Tyrone O. Rooney received his Ph.D. (2006) and MS (2002) from the Pennsylvania State University. His research interests are in the application of geochemical methods for probing Earth processes using volcanic rocks, with particular attention to tectonic questions at divergent and convergent plate boundaries. His primary research interests include the magmatism of East Africa and other continental rift environments.
