**What got you interested in plants and plant science?**
I think they are interesting models for various science applications, and the range of species people can work with is fascinating. 

**What is your research about?**
The longevity of molecular molecules used from desiccation to recovery in resurrection grasses.

**Where do you see yourself in 10 years?**
I hope to be in a plant biotechnology research space, can be industry, government, etc. I want to have left an impact on the space I'm in, whether that be directly in my research or inspiring the next generation of scientists. 

**On a Saturday afternoon, you'll likely find me:**
Playing fetch with my dog, Ekko; exploring Michigan with my partner; or trying out a new restaurant.
