Vincent F Melfi

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Probability and the Program in Mathematics Education. Over the years my research has touched on Markov chains, renewal theory, allocation in clinical trials, statistics education, and quantitative literacy. I have served as Chairperson of the Department of Statistics and Probability and Director of the Program in Mathematics Education. I grew up in Euclid, Ohio, so maybe a career in the mathematical sciences was fated.
