###Research
Bong (Bill) Jin Hong came to MSU from Northwestern University where he was a Research Scientist in the O’Halloran lab.  He has experience with elemental analysis of human cells and tissue and experience with advanced chemical synthesis methodologies and skill in development of drug delivery platforms.  He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea where his dissertation title was “Dendron-Modified Self-Assembled Monolayer and DNA Microarray on the Surface.”  In the O’Halloran lab at MSU, Dr. Hong will research and evaluate inorganic phenotypes in human health.
