###Research Interests
I am intrigued by both plant science and applied environmental science. Although I am not yet sure what I will be investigating at MSU, I hope to examine metabolic pathways in plants that could eventually be modified to sustainably produce desired products (i.e. fuels, pharmaceuticals, etc.). 

###Quick Profile
**What got you interested in plants and plant science?**
As a kid, I always loved gardening and tending to the flower beds at our house. Once I started learning more about genetics and environmental science in high school, I realized plant science offered a way for me to combine all of the topics I enjoyed studying into one field!

**Where do you see yourself in 10 years?**
In ten years, I aim to be in a position (academic or industry) that enables me to continue working towards solving some of our pressing environmental challenges. Similarly, I hope to be training other young scientists and enjoying ample time with my friends and family. 

**On a Saturday afternoon, you'll likely find me:**
You will find me either cooking in the kitchen while watching some sports/movies, or out for a run while listening to some music or chatting on the phone with my friends.
