Bio

Ryan Kilcoyne leads the Michigan State University’s College of Natural Science, marketing, creative and storytelling, digital strategies for the dean’s office. He has worked in higher education for more than a decade in various marketing leadership positions.

Ryan has over 25 years of experience in achieving results in diverse industries, including Fortune 500 companies. He has been recognized for the ability to lead and energize multi-functional teams and align with stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives. He is accomplished at developing a strategic vision and supporting it with marketing, research, content planning, targeted storytelling, new technologies, and communication plans that deliver measurable results.  

Prior to joining the College of Natural Science, Ryan led the Marketing Office in the College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State University utilizing an integrated marketing approach which includes public relations, graphic design, publications/collateral, web presence, social media, media relations, issues management, news services, video, and photography for nearly 11 years. Prior to Michigan State University, Ryan has worked for organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (PwC), Suntory Global Spirits, Whirlpool Corporation, and InterActiveCorp (IAC). He has worked with a variety of brands including Maytag, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, General Motors, Ticketmaster.com, Tripadvisor.com, Makers Mark, Jim Beam, Sony Music, and Warner Music Group.

Through his dedication of fostering teamwork and superior work performance through collaboration, Ryan was awarded the [2018 Jo-Ann Vanden Bergh Award](https://cal.msu.edu/news/staff-awarded-for-excellence-and-leadership/), the highest staff award in the College. 

Ryan resides in East Lansing, Michigan with his wife Lisa and his three children; his son Landon and identical twin girls Ella and Reagan.
