Jeff’s research focuses on male germ cell differentiation and self-renewal by utilizing various molecular biology techniques in combination with mouse models. He investigates infertility, genome defense, and reproductive health through the examination of the protein degradation pathway and piRNA biogenesis/processing in mammalian testes.

###About me
When outside of the lab and classroom, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s running, swimming, hiking, or camping. He is also an avid follower of soccer around the globe (Go Manchester City!).  He also likes history, with an emphasis on late-18th to mid-19th century and is always trying to find new books and documentaries to digest.
