I study early tau pathology in the default mode network during Alzheimer’s disease (AD) progression. By immunolabelling postmortem human tissue with specific markers, I investigate the spatiotemporal distribution of pre-tangle tau that may give a hint regarding the relation between early pathological changes and cognitive decline in AD

I am a total outdoorsy loving hiking and biking.  I also enjoy kickboxing and karate (aiming for my first black belt before my graduation!)
