**What got you interested in plants and plant science?**
I was part of an ecology lab my undergraduate years and I fell in love with plant research. I also participated in the MSU Plant Genomics REU, which was an amazing experience as well. I have also always been environmentally conscious, and I genuinely enjoy being out in nature and growing my own plants.

**On a Saturday afternoon, you'll likely find me:**
Watering my plants and relaxing, biking around Lansing, exploring a new trail.
