Bio
The long-term goal of our research program is to gain mechanistic understanding of molecular machineries that target and insert membrane proteins into their respective membranes. These ‘targeting factor’ and ‘insertase’ proteins are conserved throughout all domains of life, and they are the main research focus of our lab. # Education * Ph.D. 2012, Simon Fraser University (BC, Canada) * B.Sc. 2006, Simon Fraser University (BC, Canada) # Previous Appointments * Postdoctoral Fellow, 2015-2020, Rockefeller University (New York, NY) * Postdoctoral Fellow, 2013-2015, Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA) # Links * [KIm Lab Website](https://www.kellykimlab.com/) * [Google Scholar Citations](https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Jy_Z21sAAAAJ&hl=en)
