Bio

Department: Integrative Biology
Advisor: Sarah Evans

I am pursuing a duel-major Ph.D. in Integrative Biology and Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior (EEB) at Michigan State University. I am currently based at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station (KBS), where my research is focused on soil microbiomes, mycorrhizal-bacterial interactions, and biological nitrogen fixation. I leverage a combination of high-throughput sequencing, culturing, and stable isotope techniques to connect microbial communities to ecosystem functioning.
