Ismail Alkhouri

Ismail R. Alkhouri is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Computational Mathematics, Science & Engineering department at Michigan State University, and a Visiting Scholar at the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the Data Science and Machine Learning Laboratory (DSML) within the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at the University of Central Florida in May 2023. During his academic journey, he was a research intern at the Information Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory from 2019 to 2022. His research interests are computational imaging employing diffusion models, differentiable methods in combinatorial optimization, and adversarial machine learning.
