Our research focus is on identifying novel molecular targets and targeting agents that enhance the efficacy of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in various cancers including triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), lung cancer and glioma. We employ a variety of techniques to evaluate radio- and chemo- sensitization in in-vitro and in-vivo models. 

Additionally, we are evaluating the toxicity and efficacy of replication competent adenovirus (developed at HFHS) in clinical trials in human subjects. We have conducted several clinical trials in subjects with prostate and pancreatic cancers. We have initiated a, investigator-initiated phase-1 trial in recurrent glioma and are in the process of developing a ""window-of-opportunity"" phase-1 trial in newly diagnosed head and neck squamous carcinoma.
