Bio

I am currently an assistant professor at Michigan State University. I graduated from Tufts University in 2018 with a B.S. In Astrophysics and a minor in English. I earned a M.S. from the University of Chicago in 2019 before matriculating into the Ph.D. program that same year. I received my Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astrophysics in 2023. I was a NASA Sagan Postdoctoral Fellow for two years post Ph.D. My first year as a Sagan Fellow was spent at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder; my second year was spent here at MSU.

# Research Interests

I am an observational astronomer whose research focuses on understanding the early evolution of young (< 500 Myr) stellar and planetary systems. I am interested in understanding how various forms of stellar activity shape the evolution of exoplanet atmospheres. I use a wide range of observational facilities including NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, Hubble Space Telescope, and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. My research highlights the power of conducting simultaneous and contemporaneous multi-wavelength campaigns from the X-ray through the radio to shed light on these unique systems.
