Bio

I am an assistant professor in the physics and astronomy department at Michigan State University.. I am also the NASA Small Bodies Assessment Group (SBAG) Early Career Secretary and a member of the Rubin Observatory Users Committee.  I received my Ph.D. from Yale University in 2020, where I worked with Gregory Laughlin and was a Gruber Fellow.  I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015,  with degrees in mathematics and physics.  I was the TC Chamberlin Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago Department of the Geophysical Sciences from 2020-2022 and then a postdoc and NSF Simonyi Scholar/AAPF at Cornell from 2022-2024.  I am generally interested in interstellar objects, exoplanets, fluid dynamics, nonlinear dynamics, plasma physics and neuroscience.
